Sending, Receiving and Delivery Reports
messagemedia's SMS APIs enable developers to implement a two-way SMS service.
Through the API you can send SMS mobile numbers via messagemedia's SMS gateway. Any reply messages are delivered back through the API, allowing full integration into your database or system. messagemedia also supports delivery reports, which will confirm the exact time and date that the message is received on the recipient's handset.
Messages can also be tagged with an internal message ID to allow replies to be matched to the relevant outgoing message.
Dedicated Numbers
Dedicated numbers are linked to a particular account through messagemedia's SMS gateway, meaning that no additional configuration is required within the API to activate a dedicated number.
